Allegiance is defined as devotion or loyalty to a person, group, or cause. Many people profess allegiance to Jesus with their mouths, but their words and deeds suggest differently. Christ has come to reign over a new kingdom. A kingdom that is here and now. Admitting loyalty to the kings is easy; living it out is another story.
