Jesus will never settle into a second-place spot in our lives. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords is first place in all things, and He makes radical requirements of us if we are to be His followers. He’s not about us just adding a little religion or making a few moral tweaks. He calls us to open our hands and let go of anything and everything that makes us feel secure and reach out to Him no matter the cost.
Are you willing to give up anything and everything? Are you willing to allow Him to do anything and everything to get you to full surrender and dependence?
