Authority October 11, 2020 – November 1, 2020

In a world that is losing its mind during elections, God has called Christ-followers to be different.  Being different doesn’t mean being silent; it means being loud about what matters most.  Being different doesn’t mean disengaging, but rather engaging in what is most important to God.  Being different means that we are not first and foremost political party people; we are Kingdom people who are willing to influence our political parties.  When we submit to ultimate authority in our lives, we refuse to burn relational bridges over political views.  The question we must wrestle with during the election season is the same question we must always wrestle with:  Who has ultimate authority in my life?
