Difficult times have a way of sharpening our focus. They give us time to examine our priorities and emphasize what is truly important. They give us an opportunity to take stock of our relationship with God and begin to seek Him with renewed perspective.
At the same time, when a period of intense suffering or trial comes to an end, anxiety over the future and desire for comfort tempt us away from seeking God’s kingdom. Sometimes the things that God calls us to seem impossible, so why try? Maybe, it’s not impossible. Maybe, we just need a to renew our perspective.
