God has placed us in our communities for a reason and it is our job to reach those that are hurting, lonely or in need. Here are just a few ways we love on our community. Prove It Day

As a way of showing God’s love in a practical way, volunteers attempt to bless hurting people in our communities with much needed home repair and renovations for free. Multiple times a year, at both campuses, we gather as a church and blanket our community with the love of Christ by sending out dozens of people to actually PROVE it to the world around us. Many of the residents in our communities can’t afford or don’t know where to turn when repairs seem too much. Volunteers of all ages come together to share the love of Jesus and help build people up! Union Church also partners with the Danville Neighborhood Development Corporation for home repairs throughout the Danville area. Here are just some of the types of projects we have done.

  • Multi-home repair Blitz funded by DNDC

  • Building handicap ramps for those in need

  • Yard clean-up & debris removal

Financial Peace University

Union Church sponsors Financial Peace University because we have seen first-hand the life change that it brings. We have been offering FPU since 2013 and hundreds of families have joined us in learning how to manage money God’s way. This 9-week course teaches you how to set a budget, quickly pay off debt, prepare for the future and how to live & give like no one else. Dave Ramsey’s 7 Baby Steps are taught via video in a small group setting making it fun and easy to understand. If you have any questions about our upcoming groups please email fpu@unionchurch.co
