Cry Like a Man June 5, 2022 – July 3, 2022
Jesus wept. It’s the shortest sentence in the Bible but it reveals so much about who Jesus was. He was not aloof, or distant from the people he met. He was present. He wept. He felt…deeply. He was, by all accounts, emotional.
Contrary to what the world may teach us, our emotions are not the problem. They are indicators of the actual problem.
The goal for our emotions isn’t to suppress them or even to manage them, but to read them, express them, and allow the Gospel to reshape them.
